LANGTANG/GOSAINKUNDA
North of Kathmandu lies the vast borderland with Tibet and the areas of Langtang and Gosainkunda. These regions may be reached by bus or car and provide interesting treks in a marvellous area. The following itineraries may be arranged as well as tea house or as camping-treks. If required they may be completed in a slightly shorter time or can be arranged to take considerably longer.

LANGTANG VALLEY - 9 Days / Grade B
The valley, a high and isolated area, lies south of the 7,246 meters high Langtang Lirung and has a unique flora and fauna. The scenic views of the mountains, grazing yak herds and people of Tibetan origin make up a wonderful trekking experience.

GOSAINKUNDA
LAKES - 8 Days / Grade B
The trail leads through dense forests and high ridges to the the holy Lakes of Gosainkunda. They are a famous pilgrimage site in Nepal as are said to have been created by Shiva himself. On the full moon day of August hundreds of devotees gather here and take dips in the sacred waters.
